➡️ Amongst the 6 listed policy priorities we find : Standards driving quantum technology development and the implementation of Post-Quantum Cryptography protocols. This action aims to position the EU as a leader in quantum technology and Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) standards by reinforcing its international role, aligning fragmented EU efforts, and strengthening links between standardisation, research, and innovation to enhance competitiveness and security.



🔗 French Decree​ - 27.03.25 – Amending the decree of February 2, 2024 relating to exports to third countries of goods and technologies associated with quantum computers and their enabling technologies and equipment for the design, development, production, testing and inspection of advanced electronic components : https://lnkd.in/ef2mqzHP

➡️ Update of the French control list pursuant to Article 9 of Regulation (EU) 2021/821 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 May 2021 establishing a Union regime for the control of exports, brokering, technical assistance, transit and transfer of dual-use items.


🔗 Reminder – Dutch Regulation​ - 13.01.25 – on advanced production equipment for semiconductors in connection with an extension of the licensing requirement and technical changes in the appendix to the regulation : https://lnkd.in/gyKBVA_t

➡️ On 1 April 2025, the Netherlands modified its national export control measure for advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment. As of that date more types of technology became subject to a national authorisation requirement.


🔗 Reminder – USA​ – BIS revision of EAR controls on advanced computing integrated circuits : https://lnkd.in/dkVA_SJc

➡️ BIS is expanding existing controls on advanced computing ICs controlled under ECCNs 3A090.a and 4A090.a and the corresponding .z items and imposing new controls on the model weights of certain advanced closed-weight dual-use AI models controlled under newly created ECCN 4E091.

📅 Exporters, reexporters, and transferors are not required to comply with the changes made in this rule until May 15, 2025, except for certain paragraphs that have a delayed compliance date of January 15, 2026.
